Beer & Chocolate Fundraiser- Everyone knows good things come in pairs, and on Tuesday, August 16th, Magic Hospital and Beer Mania discovered the perfect pair- beer and chocolate. For its monthly Charity Tuesday, Beer Mania chose to benefit Magic Hospital's programs. In association witha a beer and chocolate importer, we hosted a beer and chocolate pairing event. Vandergeeten organised the matching of Belgian beers with luxury Belgian chocolates. Everyone was given a complementary chocolate with their beer choice. Plus, 10% of all drink sales throughout the day went directly to Magic Hospital. This out-of-the-ordinary fundraiser successfully raised nearly RMB 2600 for Magic Hospital from drink sales, chocolate sales and donations. A huge thank you to everyone for their support, including: Beer Mania, for supporting the event and providing event space, as well as promoting us as their charity of the month; Vandergeeten, for donating the chocolates, coming up with great tasting notes, helping people understand the flavours, and donating proceeds from the night's chocolate sales. Also thank you to everyone who came along, enjoyed a beer and, hopefully, learnt a thing or two about how to appreciate their next Belgian beer.
